About Us

WEF Buckeye Student Chapter is a student organization at The Ohio State University.  We are a student chapter of the Water Environment Federation (WEF) and the Ohio Water Environment Association (OWEA) the Ohio Membership Association of WEF.  Please visit www.wef.org and www.ohiowea.org for more information.

Our purpose is:

• To promote student interest in the environment and awareness of current environmental problems/needs
• To provide an avenue for the exchange of information and ideas through networking and mentoring between students, faculty and Water Environment Federation (WEF) members
• To promote academic excellence and leadership in environmental science, operations and engineering

We will accomplish this through:

• Networking - connecting with fellow members and staying informed on water issues in our region
• Providing opportunities to present papers, exhibit, write articles, and serve on committees
• Training, Education, and Conferences
• Design Competitions
• Access to wef.org
• Subscriptions to WEF periodicals
• WEF Career Center
